This year again, the skies of Jesolo Lido are set to be the backdrop for a spectacular event: the Beach & Kite Festival, the largest kite festival in Italy. From April 4th to 6th, 2025<\/strong>, over 200 professionals, along with many enthusiasts from around the world, will bring to life an unprecedented show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has now become a tradition to host this event, and we proudly recall when, in 2023, hotel in Jesolo with swimming pool<\/a><\/strong>, has been recently featured in an article by the prestigious German magazine D.C. Paderborn. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The article highlights the outstanding success of the JESOLO BEACH & KITE FESTIVAL, an extraordinary event that took place as usually on the beach right in front of our hotel from the 31st of March to the 2nd of April 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a great honour for us to receive this mention alongside Filippo Gallina, a prominent figure of the event. Thanks to our fruitful collaboration with him, we had the privilege of hosting the festival on our enchanting beach, creating an unforgettable experience for all participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The genesis of this festival is a fascinating and passion-filled story, which makes us particularly proud to have been involved since the beginning. Year after year, the Jesolo Beach & Kite Festival continues to gain popularity and prestige, attracting an increasing number of visitors from around the world. It has firmly established itself as one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the region.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFast aus dem Nichts wurde in Jesolo in Italien Drachenfestgeschichte geschrieben!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Filippo Gallina, italienischer Drachenbauer und Mitveranstalter des Drachenfestes in Jesolo, lie\u00df es sich nicht nehmen, jeden anreisenden Gast pers\u00f6nlich am Flughafen Venedig abzuholen. Auf dem Weg zum Hotel erz\u00e4hlte er mir die verr\u00fcckte Entstehungsgeschichte dieses Drachenfestes.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vor \u00fcber 10 Jahren hatte er an dem riesigem Strand seine Drachen steigen lassen und damit die Aufmerksamkeit eines Hoteliers geweckt. Andrea, der Sohn des Besitzers vom Hotel \u201aVidi Miramare und Delfino\u2018 in Jesolo, direkt gegen\u00fcber am Strand gelegen beobachtete eine Weile wie Filippo mit seinen stablosen Gro\u00dfdrachen im Wind k\u00e4mpfte und spielte. Andrea war fasziniert und kam neugierig und auf ihn zu. Die beiden kamen ins Gespr\u00e4ch und trotz tausender Fragen und dem immer st\u00e4rker werdenden kalten Wind, freundeten sich die beiden jungen M\u00e4nner sofort an. Sie verbrachten nur ca. eine Stunde zusammen, aber genug Zeit, um eine Idee in Andreas Herz zu entfachen: ein Drachenfestival zu planen, und damit ein neues Event zur Belebung der touristischen Vorsaison zu schaffen. Der Strand bot durchaus alle Voraussetzungen, das spektakul\u00e4rste und gr\u00f6\u00dfte in Italien zu werden. Andrea geriet ins Schw\u00e4rmen und stellte sich einen Himmel voller bunter Drachen vor, riesige Akrobaten der L\u00fcfte, die die Sorglosigkeit der Kindheit heraufbeschw\u00f6ren. \u2026<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die beiden gingen auseinander und ihre Begegnung am Strand war fast vergessen. Filippo und Andrea hatten sich aus den Augen verloren und keine Kontaktinformationen ausgetauscht. Andrea hatte die Idee aber nicht locker gelassen und so suchte er acht Jahre sp\u00e4ter, via Social-Media verzweifelt im Internet nach Filippo. Nachdem sie sich wieder gefunden hatten, lud Andrea ihn nach Jesolo ein, um ihm seine Idee nochmals zu erkl\u00e4ren und konkrete Planungen zu machen. Andrea berichtete von seinem Wunsch, etwas Neues f\u00fcr seinen Strand zu schaffen, ein Ereignis, das hier noch nie jemand gesehen hatte und das die Besucher von Jesolo unterhalten sollte. Dabei hatte er nicht nur an Gro\u00dfdrachen gedacht, sondern auch Lenkdrachen und Aeroskulpturen, ein Kite + Beachfestival. Filippo, hatte noch nie Drachenfeste organisiert, sondern nur daran teilgenommen, hatte dadurch aber die n\u00f6tigen Kontakte zu vielen Drachenfliegern. Andrea war von seiner Idee so \u00fcberzeugt, dass es ihm gelang, Filippo zu begeistern. So organisierten sie im Herbst 2021 ein erstes italienisches Drachentreffen und im Fr\u00fchjahr 2022 mit Hilfe einiger Drachenfreunde ein kleines internationales Fest direkt vor Andreas Hotel. Ohne daf\u00fcr Werbung gemacht zu haben, war dieses Probefest ein gro\u00dfer Erfolg. Andrea hatte einige Leute von der Gemeinde und Hoteliers dazu eingeladen, um das Potenzial der Veranstaltung zu zeigen: Es war Liebe auf den ersten Blick und alle waren begeistert! Niemand h\u00e4tte ahnen k\u00f6nnen, dass dies nun der Beginn war, in K\u00fcrze das gr\u00f6\u00dfte Drachenfestival Italiens zu organisieren!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Strand- und Drachenfestival JESOLO wird vom 31. M\u00e4rz \/ 1.-2. April 2023 Realit\u00e4t!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Filippo hatte 268 Drachenflieger aus der gesamten Welt eingeladen und 1 \u00bd Kilometer des unendlichen Strandes wurden f\u00fcr das Festival pr\u00e4pariert. Drachenflieger der folgenden L\u00e4nder: Italien, Deutschland, Schweiz, Niederlande, Gro\u00dfbritannien, Frankreich, Belgien, Malta, Kolumbien, Dubai, Slowenien, Thailand, Ukraine, \u00d6sterreich und Kanada\u2026 sollten den Strand mit den Farben ihrer fantastischen Drachen f\u00fcllen. Der Himmel von Jesolo begr\u00fc\u00dfte den Fr\u00fchling mit dem ersten gro\u00dfen Beach-Event des Jahres!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es gab gro\u00dfe Flugfelder f\u00fcr Lenkdrachenvorf\u00fchrungen, Einleinerdrachen, Aeroskulpturen, sowie f\u00fcr stablose Gro\u00dfdrachen (diese Feld war mit 150 Betonbl\u00f6cken a 7 Tonnen, als Bodenanker best\u00fcckt).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

War es am Freitag noch eher grau und unbest\u00e4ndiger Wind, sollte der Samstag alles zeigen, was die Drachentaschen hergaben. Der Himmel war voll und alles flog perfekt nebeneinander! Die Taschen wurden geleert! Bei super Wetter genossen an dem Wochenende \u00fcber 100 000 Menschen das bunte Treiben am Strand. Einhunderttausend Besucher f\u00fcr ein 1. Drachenfestival, ist schon eine echte Hausnummer und kaum zu \u00fcberbieten! Es war ein riesiger Erfolg, der auch entsprechend in den Medien publiziert wurde. Der Traum von Andrea und Filippo war endlich wahr geworden!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es w\u00e4re nicht m\u00f6glich gewesen ohne die Unterst\u00fctzung des Stadtrats, der an die Veranstaltung geglaubt hatte, – des Marconi-Komitee, das dank seiner Rettungsschwimmer den Strand tadellos vorbereitet hatte, – AJA, das Unterst\u00fctzung bei der Aufnahme der eingeladenen Drachenflieger geleistet hatte, -mehrere Hotels, die Zimmer f\u00fcr die Drachenflieger zur Verf\u00fcgung stellten, und die Federconsorzi Arenili Lido di Jesolo.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Festival war noch nicht beendet, da wurden schon Anregungen und Verbesserungen gesammelt. Doch eines war sofort klar: Im n\u00e4chsten Jahr wird es noch gr\u00f6\u00dfer!\u201c<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
